Your Ideal Wedding Party
This decision is one that can make or break your wedding day! Choosing ideal friends and family members to assist you on the most important day of your lives requires everyone you hand picked the unspoken responsibility to implement a completely selfless approach for you two to be great! There are a few things to consider when doing so!

Give Everyone An Individual Role/Responsibility For The Day

There is nothing wrong with letting your best people know that you need their help on this chaotic day. Even if it may seem like a small responsibility, it may prove to be a game changer with everyone working together to make your day work with very little effort when your wedding party is locked in!
1. One of your groomsmen will carry the infamous lent roller! His job all day will be to get that annoying lent off of your suit without you or anyone else having to worry about it.
2. At least one of your bridesmaids needs to be laser focused on your dress the entire day which means hitting leg day the day before would not be ideal lol
3. One bridesmaid and one groomsmen needs to make sure his/her phone is charged and ready to direct family members, coworkers, associates, and friends with some of the same directives that were listed on the save the dates and invitations. You two don’t have time to take on that responsibility! You have 99 better things to do!
4. One of your bridesmaids needs to have all of your details in one box ready for me to photograph and for you to then use to put on your earrings, shoes, jewelry, etc. without having to individually search for everything one by one.
5. One of your groomsmen needs to have mints and chap stick in his jacket pocket at all times just in case you need a freshening up due to dehydration and nerves.
6. Likewise one of your bridesmaids needs to have your choice lipstick and the tools needed for touchups throughout the day especially if you are a cryer and even more so if it is hot outside!
7. One of your groomsmen and bridesmaids need to have tissue in his/her possession at all times especially during the processional. This is when the tears will be most likely to flow the most.
8. No one should be in his/her phone all day taking selfies and going live lol Unless you are involved.
9. Your wedding party should treat you all like you are a top secret package that needs to be delivered without blemish.
10. One of the members of your wedding party will distinguish his/herself as what I affectionately will call the MVP and it isn’t always the Best Man, Maid Of Honor, or Matron Of Hour!

This Is Synergy!
Which brings me to my last point!
Don’t allow mom/dad/uncle/aunt/grandpa/grandma suggest anyone into your wedding party! This is for you to choose, not anyone else. Did Esther let Mordecai choose her handmaidens when she was being prepared for King Ahaspherus? I DON’T THINK SO!
If you have 7 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen…. So be it! Don’t go after even numbers! Keep the people who matter to you!
Keep the dramatic friends as your guests only! Let’s not add anymore anxiety to an anxiety filled day with the attention seeking dramatic friend!
